This Research Brief summarises some of the findings from The Effective Pre-school, Primary and Secondary Education Project (EPPSE), a longitudinal study (1997 – 2014) funded by the Department for Education. 2. The main focus of EPPSE was to investigate the influence of pre-school on children’s academic and social-behavioural outcomes.
